Themed Activity FAQs

What is a preschool theme?

A theme is a topic, like farms or the ocean, that you use to connect books, play, and activities for a week or more. Themes help children go deeper and remember what they learn.

How long should we spend on one theme?

One to four weeks works well. Stay longer if your child is excited, and move on sooner if interest fades.

Do I have to follow the themes in order?

No. Use them in any order, and swap in seasonal or holiday topics that fit your family and where you live.
